He is my favourate actor. When I have started to watch movies at that time I was the huge fan of Amitabh Bacchan.
I remember very first movie of Amitabh Bacchan that I have seen was ‘Mard’. Very famous dialogue of the movie “mard ko kabhi dard nhi hota” was the unforgettable dialogue of bollywood history.
He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema.
He has done more than 190 bollywood movies over 5 decades. ‘Sholey’, ‘Sahansaah’ ‘Zangir’ these are the movies which never be forgotable. ‘Sholey’ was the blockbaster movie of amitabh and Dharmendra. Even its dialogues becomes too famous. ‘kitne aadmi the’. And many more.
I also remember other famous dialogues by Amitabh Bacchan ‘Ristey me to hum tumhare baap lagte hai. naam hai sahansaah’. From the movie Saansaah.
He has won numerous accolades in his career, including four National Film Awards as Best Actor and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won fifteen Filmfare Awards and is the most-nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 41 nominations overall. In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter. He has hosted several seasons of the game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
He has also been awarded as Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contributions to the arts by the government of India.
Amitabh Bachchan made his Hollywood debut in 2013 with The Great Gatsby, in which he played a non-Indian Jewish character, Meyer Wolfsheim.
Amitabh Bacchan works on comedy movies also ‘Bade mian chotte miaan’ . his acting is superb.
In every movie his acting is too real. he also perform real stunts in some movies. while acting in a movie ‘Coolie’, in the University Campus in Bangalore, he suffered a near fatal intestinal injury during the filming of a fight scene with co-actor Puneet Issar. He was performing his own stunts in the film and one scene required him to fall onto a table and then on the ground. However, as he jumped towards the table, the corner of the table struck his abdomen, resulting in a splenic rupture from which he lost a significant amount of blood. He required an emergency splenectomy and remained critically ill in hospital for many months, at times close to death.
Due to this reasons he become the most popular actor in bollywood cinema. Even his personality is gorgeous. He is the only one who rise the name of bollywood all over the world.
