I really dont have words to express my experience with the American Express card.
It was a torture having this card and i regret having ever applied for it.
I recieved the Am Ex card in 2002
and since then there was no end in the unknown charges. Calling up the call center in gurgaon never helped. And once i got an e mail to register for online banking and statements by e mail. Never ever any statements were mailed. and i got a great surprise on day when a huge amount was charged against subscription of a magazine which i never did. I settled the outstandings and then cancelled the card.
And then the harassment started by their collection agencies. Rs 133 became 19000 in no time and god knows what were these charges for even though the card was cancelled.
My suggestion.. Never go for a Credit Card. if you ever desire to have one, please dont opt for a card from any private bank, Use an SBI or PNB or BOB credit card.

I still strongly don’t recommend any AMEx cards. Get a credit card from State Bank of India.
