I applied for the Amex green card and was approved. My main use of the card was for business. However, after receiving the card it keep getting turned off without my notification. First,
they said I had to prove my residents. The second time I had to prove employment. Wouldn’t they go through this process before approval? I was using it for business lunches, and when declined I was mortified. I paid my bill every month b/f it due date and paid over the minimum payment. I found myself extremely stressed with the card. I hear other people having the same problems. It is also impossible to get in touch with supervisors. You also have to supply all these documents which I had no time to collect, fax, and follow up. Now I stick to my visa and master cards. Yes they have APR % however I sleep better at night and get more accomplished!
