America, I believe, is ruled by the lobby of arms producers. Most of the US presidents have served in the army at one time or the other. All of them have had deep relations with the arms producing lobby.

This
is the dark side of capitalism. For the companies producing arms and ammunition, the business is good when the wars are on. No wonder then that US is fighting at least one major war every 10 years.

These companies also sell arms by creating/supporting insurgencies around the world. These people control the media also. We hear about wars and terrorist acts happening around the world. We also hear about the carnage they cause with their sophisticated weapons, but we are never told how they get access to such arms and weapons.

US will not do anything about terrorism and will not let any country do anything about it. The reason is that these terrorists generate revenue for American arms manufacturing companies. This is very clear from the kinds of pressure that US maintains on India and Israel. These countries are not allowed to wipe/clean their state off terrorism. Both the states continue to suffer.

US selected to take help from and support General Mushruff rather than joining hands with India. Us took this step despite knowing that General Mushruff was not a democratically elected leader of Pakistan. In fact, he was the leader of the coup which overthrew the democratic regime at that time. US however, it seems, finds itself most comfortable communicating/working with a General (military man) rather than the democratically elected leader of India.

The axis of evil was declared by President Bush on some kind of criterion which allowed them to comfortably exclude Pakistan, Palestine, countries in Africa, and the countries in eastern Asia. Nobody dared to ask the question about where this axis obtains its arms from? Maybe, the eligibility criterion for membership to axis of evil was that these countries do not buy their arms from US.

The question is that if US and the world manages to bring about peace to the world what will these companies do which are producing arms and spending trillions of dollars on R&D with the support of the state
