Amazon.com is a place to buy books and other things on line. It is an easy site to find what you want because there are tabs to help you.

One of the items they sell are Memory Scrap Books. I don’t
shop on line so I don’t know if they tell you how to put them together so I’m going to show you another site that will tell you all about them.

When I took my first trip in 1957 I started keeping notes of the trip, taking pictures and buying post cards, (in case my pictures didn’t come out). When I got home I put them in a Scrap Book. From time to time I’d take the Scrap Books out to look at the ’’memories’’ of that trip. Every year the pictures seemed to fade just a little bit more and the pages were turning yellow.

One day my Cousin in Edmonton bought a Store. Some of the things she sells are ’’Memory Books’’. So many People keep mentioning my ’’Memory Books’’ I thought I would show you her web site. I am not her partner and you can’t order from her but you’ll get an idea of what a ’’Memory Book’’ is all about.

This site was developed by one of her Sons, (a web designer) and one of her Daughters, (who had just been asked to illustrate a new Children Book). Debbie is a busy Lady with 7 Children, a Husband and her Store.

The Store is called Creative Scrapbooks and the link to the site is:

http://www.scrapbooksandgifts.com

On the right is Debbie wearing an apron that is stuffed full of items to make a Memory Book.

On the top right corner is ’’Albums’’. If you got there you will see all of the Company’s that make these albums. They come in all sizes and colors. You can choose a 3 ring binder type, (the type I use) or a clip in. All of the plastic pages a static free so your pictures won’t fade or any paper turn yellow.

The next thing to look at is all of the different papers. They come in an array of colors.

Accessories are next. To make your album unique you can choose paper frames, use stickers, get different plastic scissors to cut out your pictures, use different pencils or add glitter. To attach your pictures, postcards and notes you have 2 choices: double side tape or a glue stick, (I use the glue stick).

One of my Daughters is making her own Hanukkah and Christmas Cards and I am making a 2003 Calendar for each of my Children.

If you shop on line you can buy these Albums at:

http://www.Amazon.com

I have visited Amazon.ca so I know what the site is like.

I hope you enjoyed our tour down Memory Lane.
