Amar Akbar Anthony is nothing short but a CLASSIC!!!!!!


Amar is played by Vinod Khanna,Akbar is played by Rishi Kapoor,and Anothony is played by the great Amitabh Bachchan.This movie was played by great actors and a brilliant director.but one actor stole the show for me but i’ll get back to that later.



The Story:


The story is brilliant.I mean it’s nothing new,we’ve seen it before,but the actors,music director,lyrics,and the director find some way to keep us entertained which can’t be explained.
Crew:

The crew was brilliant.From Editing to Direction,but since i have the original video it glitches at some parts but it was still ok.

Music and Lyrics:

The legendary trio Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Anand Bakshi come together for the music and lyrics.These three have brought us classic soundtracks like Suhaag,Dostana,Bobby and many more.If they didn’t do the music and lyrics than this movie wouldn’t have been the same.My pics from the lot are ’’Pardah Hai Pardah’’,’’Tayobali Pyar Dushman’’,and ’’Amar Akbar Anthony’’ Direction: Manmohan Desai is a brilliant story teller.He did an ok job with Naseeb and has brought a classic with this film.this will most likely be the film he is most remembered for.


Performances:
Vinod Khanna as Amar:
Amar was a great character and i could see no one else from that generation to do it.He was absolutely great.
Shabana Azmi:
She was great as well.i think she fit the role.Not much to say about her because she doesn’t have a lot of scope.
Amitabh Bachchan as Anthony:
I swear Amitabh Bachchan is the absolute best actor for this movie.If anyone else did this role it wouldn’t be loved by as many people as it is.Amitabh Bachchan is still a great actor.
Parveen Babi:
She did an excellent job as well.nobody else could’ve played Jenny.
Neetu Singh:
She did well in her role too.She was absolutely the best out of all the ladies.
GUESS WHO STOLE THE SHOW?????
you guessed it.RISHI KAPOOR AS AKBAR: Rishi Kapoor is the best actor in this movie.He fit the role to a T.You can see how much energy he put into ’’Pardah Hai Pardah’’.He did absolutely well in this movie and i think this is probably his best performance ever!!!!!!!!!if you aren’t a fan of Rishi Kapoor,check out this movie.


of course their were some flaws.but not too many.the only one i saw really was that the villain didn’t even look like he aged.after 20 something years he looked exactly the same?????weird isn’t it.


Overall Amar Akbar Anthony is nothing short of a classic and should be watched by one and all. 100 out of 10
