Zee television has started a new marathi channel for there marathi viewers 2 years back. in a very few days period it took a huge responce from especially the marathi community viewers. firstly it has
been called as ’’ZEE TV MARATHI’’ then lst year the name hs been changed as ALPHA TV MARATHI.
it took away the viewers of Doordarshan’s marathi channel-DD-10.
firstly many of the programmes which were showed on ALPHA TV are the HINDI dubbing version of the famous hindi programmes like Grihalaxmi ka jinn etc. then as the TV serial producers started to give their programmes to this TV, it stopped presenting the dubbing programmes.
the programmes now a days like Bhatkanti, Prapancha etc are too good to see. especially the prapancha is the best programme ever i seen on a marathi channel.
But the ’Aabhalmaya’ is getting boaring and boaring now a days. it is perfectly like the ’’ the neverending tail of Lord Maruti’’ in RAMAYANA. the elder Joshi family is not like as the matter what they was previously. i dont like to see its boaring episodes. Bhatkanti which is presented by Milind Gunaji is worth seeing. the marathi version of the NAMASTE INDIA is also good but the tourist destinations shown are repeatedly the same.
the old movies which are shown are also worth seeing as the recall the memories of the elders in the family.
i would like to request to the ZEE TELEFILMS ltd. to show more n more old marathi films beside the new ones.
the newly started programmes like SANJBHOOL is also very good. others like ZUNZA,KASA JAGAYACHE are also very good.
BUT ONE THING I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ON THIS CHANNEL IS THE HEAVY PRESENTATION OF ADERTISEMENTS between two programmes. even because of the ads the programmes get 5 to 10 minutes late to start. The commercial Breaks are also very long and boaring as the viewer forget the subject which is shown before the break.
but overall this is a very good step taken to start a channel like the ALPHA TV MARATHI.
