This bank is overall just good. I have account in this bank because it was near my house and it's account opening process is very simple. My parents also have their account in this bank. The documents provided to open bank account is:
KYC Proof
Any family member's KYC Proof
Address Proof
2 passport size photograph.
Other banks need many documents to open account. But only having account is not enough and I am not satisfied with this bank. Firstly, the main issue, there are many online shopping sites and Allahabad Bank is available on only few, even it is not on Paytm also. I contacted the customer care of Paytm that why Allahabad Bank is not added in banks list then they replied that Allahabad Bank does not take part with our company for internet banking. Also it does not have any ATM near my location and I have to go to other bank ATM to withdraw money. Many times the link is failed of this bank. I experienced badly with this bank and would suggest not to go with this bank if you need an bank account.
