I am using Airtel broadband internet and telephone service since the past 1 and half years. The connection was working fine for a year. The speed and reliability of internet was satisfactory. But five
months back the connection was shut down all of a sudden. Outgoing and internet services were barred and incoming calls were being diverted to some other number. We put up a complaint about the issue and got a reply that some maintenance activity was in progress. The problem took around 20 days to resolve. Our incoming and internet services were restored. But outgoing was still barred. Since then we have been repeatedly reminding airtel customer support to restart our outgoing service, but nobody from Airtel has bothered to even pay a visit to our premises. Whenever we contact customer support, they make us wait on hold endlessly and then promise to resolve the problem within 48 hours, but the situation is still the same after 4 months. The customer support number is toll free if we dial from Airtel landline, but we have to dial from our mobile phone since our outgoing is barred. This costs a lot since we have to wait on hold anywhere between 4 to 15 minutes for a response. We are fed up with this kind of customer support and have given up on the issue.
