I applied for Airtel broadband on 28th may 2006 via one of their sales agents. the guy’s name was some saxena his primary aim was to complete his sales target while he knew fully well that my connection

was not going to be improved due to my remote location. he assured me with all promises that he will get me a connection within 10 days. he just collected the cheque for Rs.500/- and never gave a receipt. he did not contact me at all after that though i was worried like hell because some of my very urgent works were pending i waited and waited I would call up the guy but he never picked up the phone . The airtel service centre in Lucknow also made me only 3 calls just to confirm that I made an application but never informed me about the status of application. They promptly got the cheque cashed for Rs.500/- which i got to know only when i went to the bank to apply for stop payment.
now I am left  in a lurch . I have already been fooled for about a week. I would have been fooled much longer had i not given a call to the call center.

A word about the Airtel mobile service in Lucknow also. The mobile is such that you cannot call the number even from airtel mobile itself. suppose you have had a heart attack you are lying on the road and trying to call some help from the airtel gsm connection i can assure you that all your earthly troubles would be over soon because you are never going to actually get through to the person you are trying to call.
Airtel tries to loot you at every step they invented caller tunes - some idiots pay 30 rupees a month just to let their callers listen to intolerable songs. They are raking in megabucks by fooling people. the gprs they provide is only for downloading songs and ringtones and stupid pictures you cannot actually surf the net using that.
The one aim of Airtel guys is to make public loosen up their purse.

They are very clever also . They have bought up all the media both print and electronic by giving them mega adverts so that no media would report anything against airtel whether electronic or print.
i hope in uttar pradesh they will not be able to do much dadagiri because uttar pradesh people are the biggest dadas in the world.
