Using airtel digital tv connection from past two years, the picture quality is awesome, but it has several signal loss issues, for first three months there was no issue of signal loss but after three months few channels lost signal suddenly, but no problem with the clarity of channels having signal, day by day more channels signal were getting lost, so I called the customer care, which was not a toll free number, they first spoke to me and said to wait for few minutes so that they could raise a complaint about this issue, they made me wait on call for almost 30 minutes then they saod that their executive will come next day to fix the issue and said that he will be charging 150 rupees for that, but their executive came after two days, he fixed the signal loss issue and asked a payment of 400 rupees, he charged almost 3 times than the amount which was said to be charged from their executive when I called customer care.


For now there is no signal issue its almost two months after the executive fixed it, and I hope there will be no such issues in coming days.


Picture and sound quality is awesome, pictures appear very clear and crisp without any blur or other picture issues, and the sound quality is also good, sound will be clear and perfect for the volume fixed.


Service and support is the thing which airtel digital tv is offering worst to their customers, they have no knowledge of the prices charged for installation and problem fixing by their executives, and the games which other digital tv services are offering free, they are charging for that also.


Value for money if the only concern is picture quality and sound quality otherwise overall talking about customer service and other drawbacks like having charges for games and the charges of a channel seperate from a package is almost 50-60 rupees per channel which is very high compared to others so overall it does not provide value for money.


And also the package recharged for a month ends in just 22-23 days, because they charge 20 rupees every month for reactivation of selected package.
