I have recently taken a new connection from Airtel D2h to be precise on
12th June 2016 however today I am writing as the same is still not active.

Issue: The setTop box provided looks like a refurbished one is provided, on
installation I have been told that the software upgrade will be required
and will take 2 hours, I have kept the same up running for 10 hours. The
remote provided is second hand and the engineer says that I don't have a
new one right one, above all every time I call the customer care the
response is that the engineer will visit and resolve the issue in 2
hours. Am still waiting for that two hours to come.
If Airtel is so big that it does not care about its customers they should
not acquire new customers, I had a choice of many others even the smaller
service providers provide better service.
I will be publishing my plight on social media on how Airtel for Rs. 4850
have cheated customers with a second hand set top box and non working
second hand remote.
