WORST CONNECTION EVER!. Review on Airtel Data Card

WORST CONNECTION EVER!

I strongly advice everyone reading this to not go with Airtel as you will totally get frustrated for the bad customer experience.

Busy IT professionals - we apply for these things to help us do our work, I was always let down with connection issues every time I planned to work from home using the Airtel datacard. It is a totally non reliable connection atleast where I stay(behind Manyata Tech Park in Bangalore). Moreover I have to deal with unprofessional customer support staff who have no clue who they are talking to and for what. So much of my time wasted on those fellows. This is really not what I signed up for when I took the card. It made my life much tougher and the card never really helped me since the few months I am owning it.

Connectivity issues were always there but finally my data card hasnt been working for three months and Airtel has an open ticket with them on which no action is being taken. Their technician even visited my house but nothing happened after that.But I get atleast five calls a month for bill payment. Each time they call I have asked them to update their database with the reason for non payment of bill and give me a working connection so I can use the card and there by pay for it. But nothing happened.

Now I am being asked to pay the pending for all the three months where I totally have not used the card.

I never had these kind of issues with other connections like Reliance or others that I have previously used.

Actually right from when they started calling me during the sign up stage they were extremely annoying and unprofessional in their approach of going about the sign up formalities. I should have cut them right there, it was a clear sign. Somehow I had a different opinion about Airtel as a company and so went ahead. Never again!
