With Airtel for 10 years and regretting as their service is bad to worst now.


I have already escalated to all possible people including appellate.southabts@in.airtel.com and nodal teams.


All Airtel escalation teams are completely useless. Nobody takes ownership and you get a different person asking for 48 hours everyday!


I have been asking for a better escalation number/contact of higher authority to have my issues fixed and inform them about their failure of customer support teams but nobody in Airtel seems to know and nobody seems to bother.




  • First IPTV :My IPTV was suspended by Airtel on 14 October 2016 without installing DTH services which I had opted for on 20 August 2016.




I have been asking them to provide DTH since 14th October. It is 22 October now and I don't have either.


Every time I call and email I am informed with excuses and a time frame of 48 hours.


I was informed on 21 October finally I will have DTH in 24 hours.


When I call in on 22 October I am told the IPTV withdrawl request was submitted today! And DTH will take 48 hours!


Why was IPTV cut on 14 October if you say request was submitted on 22 October?


How long does it take for a company like Airtel to install DTH?




  • Broadband : I am aishwaryasingh23ing 1349 for a 4mbps plan but Airtel has a 16 mbps plan for same rental. I have requested for an update to 16 mbps.




Surprisingly Airtel does not have that infrastructure to provide 16 mbps in the heart of Bangalore city!


I was informed on 21 October after a week long complaint that my rental will be cut by 50% for 6 months as they currently cannot provide 16 mbps connection. Within next 3 months they will ensure 16 mbps or higher.


When I call in today to check status of DTH and Internet I was informed there is no mention of reducing my tarriff to 50%.


Why should I aishwaryasingh23 1349 for 4 mbps when Airtel has a plan for 16 mbps with same cost in Airtel website? If Airtel cannot upgrade infrastructure when reduce my tarriff to 1/4!


I have emails to provide how different teams within Airtel fail to communicate with each other and leave customers stranded. And nobody bothers to take ownership to have the issue resolved!


I am looking for different vendors now as I am fed up with incompetent Airtel teams and their utter failure to have issue resolved as they work as separate teams within 1 organization. Escalation teams are utter useless.
