We don’t have alternate internet broadband in my area in Bangalore. Taken 4mbps, 15 gb download plan. Got it on feb 11th 2015, almost 4 days out of town, and again 7 days on family vacation, got a message on feb 28th, all my 15gb got over and need to buy extra bytes.
When i called customer care from my land line, it saying my land line number not registered in system and my account number also. At last got a customer care number and called, customer care representative asked me to check everything online in their webpage- https://airtel.in with my mobile number, it saying - sorry! No airtel service is associated with your mobile number.
Even, he tried and shown the same message. I really wondered, my land line number, account number and even mobile number not registered with them and how come airtel given service to me all along and how come 15gb got over in 7 days, when i haven`t even downloaded anything, hardly I used it for company mails and browsing. When there are many problems from their end, why can’t they don`t charge for February month bill.
For money, they don`t agree, if you don`t pay bill on time, immediately next day, 100 inr charge for late payment. Highest rates among all internet service providers but very pathetic service and poor customer service. This is really cheating. My sincere suggestion, never go with airtel, there are many good service providers in market. I took this airtel because of no other option in my area.
