I had placed a complaint with Airtel on 3rd Feb 2017
Complaint No: 73906964
Airtel pushed a firmware update which I applied and after that the router is non responsive.
The device got damaged because of the update provided by Airtel
I was assured the complaint will be resolved by 7th.
Nobody from Airtel contacted me and when I called back on 9th Feb 2017, I was shocked to know that the complaint has been resolved without anyone even contacting me!
On escalating the complaint and speaking with their superior Mr. Pawan I was assured the device will be replaced since it is fault of Airtel.
The technician visited me on 9th Feb and said the device will be replaced as the customer service representative also advised them accordingly.
On contacting Airtel for the replacement device I am now told that they cannot provide the device to me.
I am shocked and surprised on this service provided by a reputed company like Airtel.
Why should I not file a complaint with consumer forum for deficiency in service?
