Poor internet connectivity, frequent call drops and pathetic customer support is the hall mark of Airtel services in Delhi. Last 8 days many attempts to seek a remedy have not succeeded in getting any improvement. Customer care of airtel at phone 121 have been told not to register complaints and to tell lies that the complaint has been registered. When one checks on followup one discovers that there is no record of the past complaint. Also, 121 operators do not give any complaint number so that they can easily deny that there is any problem with their service.
Since 08 May the quality of Airtel connectivity is very poor. On 10 May 2017 I was told to switch down to Airtel 2G service as there was a network problem in Airtel. Paying 4G subscription and being asked to use 2G service is indicative of failure of Airtel services in Delhi. Situation has not improved till date.
On 14 May I was told that there is no past record of complaint in May 2017 and that only complaint on record was dated 24 Apr 2017(when there was a total failure of connectivity).
On 15th May I was told that they have not received any complaint - when asked why have you called - the Airtel person pretended that someone told him about the network problem but he did not have the details!
