I have bought Airtel 4G hotspot device on 2nd April 2017 and I think it is my foolishness to buy the device without giving it a much thought.
I was in need of an Internet connection for a village located near Ghaziabad-Delhi border where broadband connection are not reached yet. So I have to buy 4G hotspot. I had two options Jio hotspot or Airtel
Why I did not choose Jio-
Jio hotspot requires a local Aadhar card that I didnot have in Delhi as I am from Kanpur and had no friends in Delhi.
I had doubt that Jio may disconnect from time to time.
The reason why I have chosen Airtel 4G-
They do not require local Aadhar card and verification process looks easy. They took my Aadhar card copy and verified it in 2 days.
Airtel is regarded as better network provider and I wanted uninterrupted network.
What problem did I face afterwards-
The Airtel salesman told me that it has unlimited limit i.e. first 6 GB will be at 4G speed and the rest will be unlimited with low speed say 512kbps. I said its Ok. I am Ok with 512 kbps. But the thing they did not tell that It was not unlimited and additional usage will be paid. My 6GB ended soon and I have forced to buy more data packs.
Internet speed - is awesome and uninterrupted
Connectivity is reliable
Service and support is upto the mark
but they may make you fool you with wrong information when go to buy it.
JUST REMEMBER ONE THING- ITS USAGE LIMIT IS VERY VERY LESS and the ADDITIONAL DATA IS NOT FREE.
