I am using airtel for last 3 years in Greater Noida which is in NCR, I experienced a good speed internet while using 4G. Speed is very good and bandwidth is also strong in comparison to other ISP's. It is very easy to activate or select plans, in terms of speed in NCR airtel is awesome and best.
While on the other hand in rural area in U.P west I found that even networks are not available. Whenever I go to my village I cannot found network to call. Airtel challenge that 4G is available in every place in India, But I can challenge them in my village even 2G in not working, very poor network in rural places.
It is easy to purchase a new connection. You just have to submit your documents and pay the initial fee and your number will be activated in a short time.
In term of service and support, it is good. Personally I feel in comparison to other service provides it is quiet better. Customer service is available 24 hrs. whenever I need help I call 198 and got some relevant solution. But sometimes it seems to be busy due to more callers.
