I easily get driven with the attractive advertisements in case of offers from various telecom operators.These advertisements are indeed captivating.
That`s why I have SIM for almost all mazor operators...lol.
The latest one is the Aircel SIM in my locked Wireless Internet Phone Device. Earlier 6 months ago I took one SIM from Aircel which came free of cost under an offer with life time validity and call charges for local @ 1 paise per 2 seconds.
I immediately tried to send the designated SMS for National Do Not Call registry. To my surprise, the return message told that ``This is not an Aircel number``... lol. Upon enquiry, I was told that Aircel has Network sharing with Tata Docomo in Chandigarh, hence the problem. But the National Do Not Call should work... this I was told.
I kept trying. Suddenly, after some two weeks of trying I was successful. In between I was constantly getting irritated with unwanted calls and mesages.
I took a package for getting 10000 seconds free of talktime. But, I confirmed from the customtakeouter care about my base tariff should not change. The answer was affirmative. But after the special recharge my base tariff of Local 1P/2s changed. I complained but it was not accepted by even the supervisor. That time I was not in a position to pursue my case. But I certainly felt cheated and a great ill feeling for Aircel.
In an another instance, I recharged Rs 9 for 100 free SMS in a month. It went well for 24 hours, then I was being deducted Rs 1.50 for one SMS intermittently. Upon enquiry, I was told that I was doing SMS from Himachal Pradesh as per them!!! Lol. I was in the centre of Chandigarh and HP was a considerable distance away from sector 31. Also the mobile has been showing me on Roaming since the day 1. But I was told to ignore that roaming symbol.
But, this time I was not in a mood to leave them. I escalated my wrong deduction upto the Appelate level. I got 22 Rupees after some one month of pursuing.I had threatened the authorities about reporting the matter to the MouthShut_Official.com. I feel, this also contributed for getting my money back.
Later, I purchased a WIP device which had a set in which I could surf the net on a in built TFT screen.... quite impressive but the login for the MouthShut_Official.com was not working well as I was neither able to rate or even comment on any review.... again a setback... but the surfing was impressive and login for all other site was successful.
The customtakeouter care is a great time sucker. First they will irritate you prompting to know more about their Pocket Apps..... then they give a good 5 second gap then the normal options. Initially I was getting confused that why the other options like talking to customtakeouter care is not coming. Even after reaching to the stage of being hold for talking to the executive and many times the call will drop. You may feel like to abuse the system of getting connected to CC.
During peak hours, say 7-9 PM I can not get connected to my hometown landline number saying the network busy n number of times whereas other operators easily do the call connect to the same number.
As their network is under sharing, you are wrongly deducted as per roaming charges. To save yourself from this mess you need to do Manual settingand select some number ending with 42....lol. I learnt that, but where a layman will go who know nothing about this setting?
But, I was deducted Rs 290 suddenly one day in one go!!! The customtakeouter care says....`` You have downloaded an Internet application and we do not have any idea about it``...lol
No problem, now my exams are over and I shall be glad to take up the case for wrong deduction.
