I have been using Aircel since 2004 until when I ditched it in 2010 due to terrible and horrible customer support. the other main Reason is, I felt they probably wer stealing my money without my knowledge. How?  here I explain.


Everything was going fine until 2007, when I first lost my Simcard. So I went to the Aircel office to buy a new replacement sim and yes I got one without any hassle. But had to wait for around 45min hrs to get that one.


Then Again in 2008, my simcard aluminum part was damaged and the sim started to malfunction, so I went their and same process and got a new replacement second. But this time I had to wait for around over 2hrs and that too not in the office as it was crowded and no place to sit, we only had the option of sitting inside our car.  It was hectic in hot Summer.


Then in 2009, My sim card was deactivated without any warning.   When asked them, they said as per the govt's new telecoms norms, its mandatory to submit a Id proof directly at the office to get back to normal. This was atrocious.  Deactivating my connection without any intimation!  Thats unfair and Rude.  I was literally out of connection for 2 days.  Then again back to life!


Then Finally in 2010, a big problem arises.  They themselves activated in two of the promotional offers - one was daily sloka and another was Caller Tunes!   I never did it myself. And how I came to know was, I recharged for 100 and with two days I lost 60 rupees!


So I complained to them asking them to deactivate those offers and give my top up back.  But after repeated requests/complaints they never tried to look into my issue and it was 2 months and I was still loosing Rs.60.


So Finally I decided to ditch the Aircel by disconnecting it forever and continue using my second network "Airtel" as primary.  Currently I have Vodafone and Airtel. And none of my Family member use aircel anymore.


I would Not recommend aircel Mobile network to anyone.  Worst and lazy customer support.
