I have traveled in flights both domestic & international, but I would like to share my experience of my Air India flight from Sydney to New Delhi in month of February this year. On the day I entered inside the airport, the checking of both of passengers & luggage was done in quick time. When I entered inside the plane, I was greeted by the air hostesses. They guided me to my seat is. But I must mention that somebody else had placed his/her cabin luggage in my luggage space, hence I placed my luggage in some other person's luggage area. After some time I was trying to go to washroom, the flight purser signaled me that somebody has occupied. When it became empty I went inside, it was very very hygienic, fresh& highly recommendable. Not like the other time, when I used Cathy Pacific airline where washroom was not so fresh. When I was feeling thirsty, I pressed the button for calling flight purser, I pressed it 8-10 times, nobody came & responded. I had to go to backside where all the staff were discussing something. When I asked for water, they did not give it by themselves. They just signaled me, there it is. I had to my pour water in the glass. The other thing which I did not like is that, when asked for which food I would prefer vegetarian or non-vegetarian. I said non-vegetarian. He asked 3 times this question & three times I answered non-vegetarian. But without saying anything he gave me vegetarian food. I had to exchange with my mother's food, which was non-vegetarian. This I didn't like because my naturopath in Australia had recommended'No gluten diet' .which means no wheat flour, in India this awareness is not there. In that vegetarian food there was chapati & how can I eat that because it had wheat flour. This disappointed me, as other food items were already containing gluten, hence it brought more disappointment to us. The rest was good. Flight purser were very polite, but services could have been better. When I went to Sydney from New Delhi with Air India, I had no complaints. When I pressed the calling button flight purser attended me in no time. In the end I would say good, but not very good this time Air India.I will give the Air India 3/5.
