I studied here, and passed out in 1996. I can safely say without prejudice that this was one of the best schools in kalina at that time. Learnt a lot from here. Will always remember Rose D'zousa, Khandekar ma'am, Fernandes teacher, Mehta sir, Sarang Sir, Shukla sir, Pathak teacher, and many others very fondly.
The teachers were very good, and in my case instilled discipline that I was sorely lacking, I can safely say that this scool saved me from my wayward tendencies and made a deep personal impact on me.
Remember going to a lot of extra curricular events and winning them, ranging from debates and quizzes, to Project exhibitions. As a school team we were always very confident of our chances. Though I must confess we did feel a little awed by schools like Utpal Sanghvi, Bombay Scottish, St.Mary's and the likes when we went for the Limca Book Of records Quiz. We had pretty decent sports faclities as well with the AIr india colony grounds where we used to play cricket anf football. Acads wise also the school was very much up there.
When I compare it with my other school, the Hindu school in Chennai, which is definitely among the better schools in Chennai( a ciity full of over achieveing schools), I suppose the school still has a long way to go before it counts among the best, but I'd still rate this school pretty highly overall.
