GOOD IDEA
Cons:

I donot believe novel is dead. Novel is only medium from which you can express your  inermost emotion. Without expressing emotion how can anybody write novel.
Difficulty with V.S.Naipaul that he had
very limited experiences. Writing memories of his childhood in House of Mr.Bishvas, he brankrupted then started to write travel books. He is  very dry and shallow writer,no deep intentcity  for mankind. He is not curious or haunted by some issue..
So it sutable for him to write travel books.
Those who are haunted by some burning issue or who is go mad  to search meaning his life he only turn to novel. Novel is only medium for core issue so I think novel will nerver die, it may possible some histroical reason novel my stop some time but never die.
wHAT i wrote on dead of novel is suffcient , your condition to write at least 150 word is nonsense and this is mandotry to reader I hate it.
