Ostensibly they inform you of all cost on their holidays but hide the
major component of cost ie Annual Subscription Fee(ASF) at the critical point of decision making.
Clubmahindra will tell you that their holidays for 25 yrs, 7days a year will cost you say Rs

A can be paid in monthly installments which are interest free. They will offer camcorder, foodvouchers and free holidays as well. You will see some visuals of their resorts on a Laptop.
BUT, but they will NOT disclose that the ASF payable to Clubmahindra every year is in addition to lumpsum A. They mention ASF in the passing right in the beginnig.

ASF:
Kindly note that payment of ASF each year, durig 25 yrs of clubmahindra’s membership, will cost you TWO to THREE times the cost of holidays it self. It follows that
you finally pay Rs 5 lac to 8 lac for a type of membership which is presented to you costing only 2 lac. The ASF being dependant on market price indices is likely to increse @ 6 to 10 % year by year. No wonder clubmahindra executives avoid touching the subject of ASF.
--> Cancellatin: They also donot inform about the ’refund of money’ if you withdraw your membership. But if you do, they will tell you about the recession period (15 days or some thing), within which only you could withdraw you member ship without forfeting your subscription. To top it, they will keep you engaged promising return of your money, if you have second thought about the membership within the recession period. They ensure that money once deposited is theirs come what may.
--> ECS- a harakiri. Clubmahindra turns to a mafia like working if your payment of monthly instalments is through Electronic Clearing System-ECS and you cancell your membership. They will continue withdrawing money from your account hrough ECS, month by month, promise you to return the same and will take months.

1. Go no where near clubmahindra.
2. If you do, because you have a rich father in law- read the offer carefully. Know the implication of Annual Subscription Fee which is a silent killer.
3. Donot pay through ECS.
4. Avoid clubmahindra for peace of mind.
