Every one is writing many reviews these days on induction cook tops but no body is giving the specification information regarding them.

I want to write this review to intimate that all induction
cook tops marketed in india are not giving the induction element diameter which is the major basis of induction cooking.

As per induction cooking standards the vessel used must not be more than 1inch with respect to coil diameter as it is will give hot spots at the center.

Most brands marketing induction cooktops use diameter of only 15.5cm which is very small and not suitable for indian cooking which uses more of dosas and deep fried items.

Even a major brand like prestige does not comply with the standards, they provide induction element diameter of 15.5cm but provide cook ware with induction element of just above 19cm and total diameter of 30cm which creates a hot spot at the center, which is very much annoying .

So i advice the manufacturers to comply with standards provide user friendly materials, so that customer will be benefitted.

After all a customer is the one who suffers finally.
