I bought the Acer 3682 entry level laptop 3 weeks back.

Price was my main concern as I planned to my one more and don’t want to spend on a single piece.

This piece costed just 31K (with lot of freebies - diwali season).

It amazed me. It comes with bright TFT screen with widescreen display, DVD Combo drive, Wireless LAN etc. All which you can’t get for 30K+.

On the other hand it has no Infrared connectivity, serial port (I am not able to directly connect my samsung mobile). The worst thing is the audio. The quality is good, but the output is very meagre which is not audible at normal daytime disturbances. The The RAM (256MB) and the hard disk (40GB) also very less. But you can upgrade them easily.

This is the best Laptop if the purpose is mainly educational.

I didn’t get problem till now. However the customer support is excellent (Vaibhav Solutions in Airport road).
