Hi. I bought an Acer laptop 10 months back. At time of booting a fuuny sound started coming. Placed a request for an on-site service as "claimed" by Acer.
The engineer did visit after 3 working days instead of promised 48 hours only after repeated escalation to Acer call centre. (SR 303379I) Agony does not stop there. They have taken my laptop and now on 26 July they promised and confirmed on the call that they would return.
Well ... despite repeated calls to the call centre and the service centre I am yet to hear from them. They do make lot of promises but the service is far too pathetic! I would not mind paying a bit more and have a peace of mind.
If you guys are planning to go for Acer - beware of its service standards. God bless if your product requires a service and God bless if you get the a non-responsive service centre!
No more Acer for me.
