We started using aashirvaad atta recently and found it easier to prepare roti etc with it and the taste is nevertheless good compared to Chakki atta which we have been using since long. The name ITC as manufacturer infuses confidence in the mind. However the pricing system is illogical. Where as 1 kg costs 45 rs the 10 kg costs only 320 rs(discounted and sometimes with free delivery). This is most unjustified. How a price range from Rs.45/- a kg down to Rs.40/- a kg for 5 kg pack and further down to Rs. 32/- a kg for 10 Kg pack can be justified.
ITC should understand that a vast majority of Indians are petty middle class. A 5 Kg/10 kg pack is good for them. The price band may be Rs.32 per kg for 10 kg but for 5 kg it should be around Rs.34 per kg. The price of 1 kg pack is grossly unjustified.
Its quality is definitely better than chakki atta but nothing hyper about it.
