Aashiqui 2, a amazing love story by Mohit Suri. Aditya roy Kapur as(Rahul Jaykar) and Shraddha Kapoor as(Arohi) were the lead roles in this film. T-series are the producers of this amazing film.
The first song " Tum Hi Ho" released on 23rd March 2013 became very popular among the audiences, which had a 2 million views within 10 days of release.
The film opens by showing a large crowd waiting for Rahul Jaykar, a successful singer and musician. The song' Sunn Raha hai na tu' originally singed by Ankit Tiwari asthe first song of the film. After that song, he meets Arohi, and gets stunned with the singing talent of her. He promises Arohi that he will make her a playback singer. Trusing Rahul, Arohi quits her job and waits for Rahul's call . Rahul gets attacked and injured by some thugs so Rahul could not help Arohi.
Arohi feels very bad for his break of trust over Rahul. She goes back to work in bars. After recovering from injury Rahul agains compromises Arohi and he trains Arohi in making her a playback singer. Arohi signs a music contract to sing in films and becomes a wonderful playback singer. But when Rahul hears the gossip that he is using her as a servant, he relapses in alcoholic addiction. Arohi makes Rahul comfort and she cares more about him than her career. They both have relationship and Arohi helps Rahul fight his alcoholism, sacrificing her singing career. Rahul dont want to be a burden an remain an obstacle in the path of her success. Next day Rahul bids her farewell by saying Arohi that he is going to change his life style and going to stay healthy. and commits suicide by jumping from the bridge. Seeing this Arohi decides to quit his career, but Rahuls's friend remind the struggles of his friend toward Arohi's career. She realizes and continues her singing career as Arohi Rahul Jaykar.
In overall, a very good music and amazing acting by the actor and actress. The songs of Arijit Singh made the film evergreen hit.
Not recommended for childrens, since it has some adult contents.
But the film is very good with a emotional endings.
