Aandhi is another interesting serial, as all zee tv serials are. It does have its ups and downs....but can be pardoned.
There is this sweet, sacrifial girl called Chandni who is in love with the
evil money lover Varun, but she has no idea about this. Her uncle knows and decides to get her married off a sweet good boy called Sidharth. On the marriage ceremony, the phone rings for Chandni and it is Varun. He pretends that he will commit suicide. Chandni rushes to the house, and there he takes all her jewels. Meanwhile, the uncle feels very let down and unhappy.
Chandni then goes and lives with her friend called Pooja, who is supposed to be a widow (as her husband died in the army)and is a happy mother. But then tragedy strikes and Pooja dies in a truck accident. Just before she dies, she tells Chandni to take her identity.
Then Chandni promises Pooja, and becomes Pooja to Pooja’s husband’s parents. The father is very fond of her, and so is the sister. Only the fathers sister is suspcious.
Then Sidhant enters her life again, but he does not recognize her, nor does she recognize him. But then later she does, and she feels very let down. Meanwhile the sister is in love with Sidhant. But Sidhant loves Chandini. Of course then everything is sorted out in the sense, that Chandni falls in love with Sidhant, he still does not know. His grandmother knows, but she does not tell him. On the day of the engagement Chandini tells him. He is very angry, and shocked but says yes.
Then The widows’s husband, enters...he was alive!
He understands Chandini. But then, Varun who has been following Chandini everywhere decides to torture her. He bribes the truck driver who had knocked down Pooja to say in front of everyone that Chandin gave him money. And the police come to arrest her.
I didn’t see after that, but I think the story is ok and shows what kind of people there are in this world.
The actors and actresses act very well except for- Sidhant. he cannot act at all!
