Story:

It is an excellent work of Mr.Benyamin, one of the emerging young novelist in kerala, based on a genuine story of a poor

village man's odyssey to a gulf country in a hope of getting a good job.Unfortunately god was not with him at that time he reached at abroad.Lack of experience and lack of luck trapped him to an unknown desert farm. The owner an Arabic man treated him there in a goatlife manner. The pathetic stage of that man cannot be fully expressed in this small review. The man's food was nothing different than the goats in that farm. He used to drink water with those and he was punished severely manytimes when he begged for food. From morning to evening he was forced to feed the goats through the desert without any rest and water. When he tired of fatigue he reminded the thing that the owrner's gun is pointing to him if he fell down in the desert. His ancestors were died in the same manner and many times he could see its evidences throughout the desert such as bones and skeltons. He used to sleep with these goats. During his First days there he used to remember his family and his beautiful village. But day by day a thought more than a drop of water and piece of kubbus pulled back his memory from all those nostalgic thoughts.Even a light coolness of a shade of goat felt for him like a heavenly touch.Heavy sandwinds, hot desert atmosphere, shivering climate changes, lack of sufficient food and water, continuous hard work, regular punishments were killing him day by day.But one day he got a call from god.He escaped from the hell in a miraculous way with an unknown man. The man in this story is still living. And the man still reminds painfully the terrible thing that instead of him which poor man would there in his place. The novel is more valuable not only by its genuine demonstration but also with the way or style of good writing.Really good to read.It will be wonderful experience.
