I had purchase the Skyline Toaster on the the 2nd of Oct 2011. AVA Merchandising offer an on air merchandising service for a number of airlines where passengers can buy various lifestyle products.
The same was picked up from the Kolkata airport counter.
I had traveled on the Jetlite - Mum to Kol on the 2nd of Oct 2011.
I was busy travelling and when I returned from my tour, I opened the pack, to make a toasted sandwich for breakfast and I noticed that at the back of the item a big piece of the plastic body has broken and fragmented into 3 smaller pieces.
In fact I have attached the pics of the damaged product showing the broken off area and the broken off pieces.
I had written to AVA Merchandising on the following dates - 14th Oct. I then called AVA Merchandising at 011-47169800 and spoke to Ms Bandana Singh. She assured me that they would send a replacement once the defective piece was sent to them. I promptly mailed out the defective piece on the Oct 15th 2011 to

Till date they have not bothered to send the replacement item. Therefore they now have my money and the defective piece. I have sent reminders on the 24th of Oct and 4th Nov 2011. All I get is automated responses and not the replacement product.
Please do not trust AVA Merchandising because they are cheats and liars.
