The university head was in thiruvanathapuram . 1st the. Unversity name was kerala technological university and after the death of apj abdul kalam sir for a tribute name changed to apj abdul kalam technological university.1st time the university have year out system many of students were year outed. Now they decrease the credit like, in 1st and 2nd semester want 26 credit to pass in to 3rd semester like follow in all upper semesters. The university was very tough and it's very difficult . There is no summer vacation in this university as per ktu they can conduct class on Sunday also . I know it will because I'm a student in this university some of my friends ceased their study as per this university rules the college was taking strict dicition against student . It is the most worst university in kerala
