I have been using a APC Inverter for the last 2 years, and after having seen the numerous claims being put out by various companies, thought I will share my experiences.

This company does not advertise its brand as much as other do, but actually is serious about living upto the expectations of the customer.

When I bought the Inverter last January  in Bangalore, as usual, I bargained with the dealer for discounts, but was told that the Company does not offer discounts but good customer service. At that time I did not believe  it but went ahead and bought it anyway.

The product looks sleek, good (like a music system), is covered from all sides and child proof

Installation was a good experience with the person being very helpful and explaining the system

Every quarter, we had a person calling us to do a maintenance check.

I had gone out of India for a period of 7 months and came back to find the inverter not working, asthe battery was spoilt due to non use for 7 months.

When I called up APC, they replaced it at no extra cost including service charges.

I understood that their service is far better than others. There has been no problem with the product, and there is no lag when there is a power outage. The handling is easy, and even the most technologically challenged can handle it.

Overall a good experience. I have bought the same inverters for my parents and inlaws. In todays world where there are a lot of power cuts, an inverter is a necessity. If living in the big cities, APC is the number 1 choice
