Pros:
You could play a nice practical joke on someone by signing them up.
Cons:
Imagine everything you ever wanted in an ISP. AOL is the exact opposite.

To be blunt, I’d have to say that AOL is probably the worst ISP that I have ever had the displeasure of using. However, I got stuck with AOL because that is the ISP used at my office. The main problems
with AOL are:
1) The freeware verson of its instant messanger is better than the version AOL gives to its members. I mean, what’s up with that?
2) There is no way to really close the constantly-reloading ’’Welcome’’ page. This slows the loading time on other web pages way down.
3) AOL still bumps you off for no reason. I have a sneaking suspicion, though, that it is not bug in the system. Every time I try to go to look at reviews of other ISPs it chooses to bump me off. Coincidence? I think not.
4) AOL will sneak little generic fees and charges onto your monthly bill without telling you. For a while they were charging me an extra $14.00 for no apparent reason.
I could go on and on, but it’s been 5 minutes without AOL bumping me off, and I’m getting a bit worried.
