We had racold heaters installed in our bathrooms and after having a tonne of issues we decided to change it. Now we have space contraints in our bathrooms we could only fit a 3l instant heater but with jaquars line up of compact sized storage heaters like the 6l and 10l elena it made it possible to go with one.
So we picked up the 6l heater. It has a manual temperature control knob which is useless(ill get to why), the exterior looks good and has good quality to it the mounting bracket and screws provided to are of top notch quality. The safety vale tho is kept in the box and you need to install it yourself. The heater also has an elcb breaker attached to its wire, which is a good thing knowing not many have circuit breakers at home. But for those of us that do we need not go reset our mains, just reset the breaker on the heater.
so down to performance, the heater is rated at 2kw, pretty less but since its sort of a storage heater it wont be much of an issue, keep the temperature knob to the max(65c if im right) and it takes about 15-20 minutes till it cuts out, hop into your shower and enjoy some nice hot bath and then in about 2-3 minutes you start getting lukewarm water. The only fix here would be to stop in between let it warm up again and continue. Even if you try to fill the bucket your bound to face such an issue, remember that temperature control knob now? whats the use when after 2 minutes the water is luke warm?
will hvae to see if it gives any issues during its lifetime, as far as for now the warranty looks promising.
