Aegon doesn't own the commitment by its representatives and frauds happening. Even I am still getting these calls great benefits all CHEAT. You can follow my case and Aegon reponse which is not satisfactory. I have no choice but to continue as otherwise loss is huge. Purchased considering 16% return but in actual it will be 4-8%~

I have been sold Aegon Religare policy Flexi Money Back Insurance Plan(UIN+138No44V02) 150314363522 Annual Premium Rs. 100, 000.(paid in Mar-15) by Abhijeet 0858595xxxx telephonically.


Showing lots of benefits, Encouraging, if you buy same day additional benefits etc. and so bought next day itself with all benefits.


Policy been sold, mentioning if I withdraw at the end of 4th Year before aishwaryasingh23ing 4th year premium then I will get,




  1. GP aishwaryasingh23out 10% of Sum Assured 71896




  2. Surrender Value at the end of 4th Year 194006(Mislead by him showing you will get this before aishwaryasingh23ing 4th yr premium)




  3. Paid up Sum Assured 3/10 X 718962= 215000(Mislead by him showing para 4 Discontinuation policy second last line, Paid up sum assured on maturity)






Total benefits 481000 after aishwaryasingh23ing 3 X 100000= 300000 and period 4yrs end.


(see attached document by Abhijeet or his team where he stated this benefit by showing in policy document as mentioned above) There is one more name mentioned on Policy Sujeet Kr 9nextisbest849181.


I bought considering 4th year withdrawl before aishwaryasingh23ment of 4th yr premium, you can refer all correspondence Audios, I do have with Aegon till now. As per my information, it always got recorded.


Just now called and had a discussion with Jagjeet from Mumbai branch 18002099090 and he clarified you been cheated, we conference that Abhijeet 0858595xxxx who sold me this policy saying from Religare but he disconnected.


I am not aware till now that Abhijeet is not from Religare. I am providing the contact number of Abhijeet above. Please get this sorted out ASAP.


This was my first experience with Religare, want to grow our relationship but so bad impression that I been cheated.


Writing this letter, considering a hope that such a big company will sort this out.

  • who send the person to me for signature. Even the other person came with the attached list of benefits at my office.




  • who convince me for so many benefits as per attached letter




  • Abhijeet has called me on behalf of Aegon. Did you discuss him why did he does the same.




  • Did you seen the recording of the conversation I had with Abhijeet on above mobile number






I understand with below email that you want to escape from the allegations but actually it was cheating which has happened with me and I need the resolution. Please do not force me to go to Consumer Court or other forums like IRDA.


This is damaging the image of Aegon in my mind and will flow to others if as Customer I am not satisfied and you will certainly agree this is not the first policy I need to have.


Need a resolution of this case as my money back.

In your complaint you have mentioned that the sales person assured to provide benefits like Guaranteed premium aishwaryasingh23out of 10% of sum assured, Surrender value at the end of 4th year and paid up sum assured of Rs. 215000/- on purchase of the aforesaid policy


We have gone through your complaint and conducted an internal assessment.


• After having examined the details, we would like to state that the policy was issued basis the Proposal Form & other documents signed by you


• Additionally, a call was made to you at pre issuance stage by AEGON Religare Life Insurance on+91995393xxxx to reconfirm your details and terms and conditions of the plan mentioned in the Proposal form


• During the call you have also confirmed to us that you have signed the proposal form and benefit illustration


• Further, in the said call you have also confirmed that the concerned ARLI representative has not promised any discount, bonus, gift and any other benefit not covered under the terms and conditions of the policy


• We had also informed you on that call that as per law no insurance company or agent or any other distributor is allowed to offer a gift, bonus or discount to you for purchase of a life insurance policy and not to believe or accept any commitment of a gift, bonus or discount if it has been offered as it is false and not legal


• After receiving your consent the said policy was issued to you


• The policy document was dispatched containing the terms & conditions to your mailing address registered with us via blue dart courier AWB number 40610866612 on 23-Mar-15 and the same was received at your end on 24-Mar-15


• In light of the above, we have concluded that you were aware of the terms and conditions of the policies during the purchase and on receipt of the policy


• An option was also provided to you for freelook cancellation within 15 days from the receipt the policy, in case you were not satisfied with the policy terms and conditions


• We have not received your policy documents within the statutory period of 15 days from the date of receipt of policy


In light of the above we regret that we will be unable to accept your request for cancellation.
