Aegon products are cheap. The service too is. They have excellent presales setup but cannot and have no intentions of delivering services.
I took icancer policy for myself and wife. Believe me they do not respond to any of your queries post sales. No response to emails, calls. My wife's policy got terminated because of their goof up setup.(I opted for auto debit of premiums and they did not do it!)
And till date no one has called or responded with steps to restate the same. Imagine what would be your state when you go for a claim.
Bottom line- Go for insurers like max, star, l&t, iffko tokyo, or any other PSUs who have local presence and do not sell exclusively online. Online-only is trouble, Aegon is double-trouble.
Let me add, After reading this post they will respond: We tried to call the customer but he was not reachable. lol
