Hi There,
I purchased a term plan from Aegon 2 years back and then the experience was really smooth. Since then I am paying my premium and there was no difficulty.
Now I need to update details into the policy so I mailed them on the customer care email.
I got an auto reply that someone from customer support would get back to me in 24 hours.
I waited 4 days but there was no response. I send the mail again and got the same auto reply.
After waiting close to a week, I tried there chat support option.
I never face such worst experience. The CC exe kept telling me that I have to send email to a specific email address. When I asked what about the email you guys are displaying at your website, she kept telling me to just send mail to specific address.
Anyways I asked her if she could just update my details and she told me that she can not do this.
I sent the email again on the specific address and got the response after 2 days and asked me to provide the updated details.
I replied to that email.
Now they again replied that email asking about the updates even though the updated information was already there in my response.
Frustrated, I again provide the details but since then no reposne.
I am wondering if I am going through this pain to just update some details what would happen when god forbid if my family has to claim?
I would buy the term plan from another insurer as nothing I can do.
But guys please avoid this company and buy the plan from any reputed company even though it means shelling out few extra bucks.
