Aegon Life iTerm Insurance Plan is a Family Protection plan which covers your life uptill 75 years of age at a nominal cost. Minimum entry age is 18 years and maximum is 65 years.
There is no maturity benefit in this plan.
In this plan, if you are going for a normal plan which means in the basic plan you will be getting Death benefit" and also "Terminal illness" benefit, while other companies will give you Waiver of premium benefit along with these two in the normal plan itself.
If you wanna go for a rider, so here they have four riders in this plan first is Aegon Life AD Rider: In case of an accidental death of the Policy holder, the Sum assured under the rider will be paid.
Aegon Life iCI Rider:This Rider covers 4 Critical illness conditions: 1. Cancer 2. Open Chest CABG 3. First Heart Attack 4. Stroke
Aegon Life WoP on CI Rider: In this the premium is waived off by the company.
Aegon Life Women CI Rider: In this some Critical illness related to women were covered.
However, the company is covering only four critical illness while ICICI is covering 34 major critical illness which is excellent and also very beneficial for all.
The claim settlement ratio of Aegon Life is 89.8% which is low as compared to ICICI,
So, why to go for Aegon Life, I will suggest you that go for ICICI term plan as the claim settlement is also high and also you will be getting two benefits free in the normal plan itself which means no extra charge for that.
