They send me a debit card which did not work. They re-issuedthe card. After a few days they said will not deliver it to my address with thebank because they dont have local bank branch in my city
which is a major cityof Punjab. They asked me to come 250Km to Delhi to collect it. This givesthem 0 rating for logistics. They created a lot of hassle for me. Or theyasked me to authorize someone and send to Delhi branch. The whole thing wasunclear and was not managed professionally. I still havent got my debit card.I can’t use the funds from this account because the nearest branch is inPanipat.
Previously, i had faced the issue of transaction passwords/pins etc. being returned to bank becuase courier could not locate the address....what a shame they still continue with the poor courier service provider. Every now and then i face this kind of problem. In the end i have to ask them to send it via registered post.
Internet Banking:
Abn Amro Bank India has the worst banking site i have ever been to. I amcomparing them to ICICI, HDFC, Bank of America, Wachovia, Citibank and others.The site does not work properly in browsers other than internet explorer.
Customer Service in Gurgaon Bank branch:
I had this account as a salary account in Gurgaon. The Customer care peopleover there are not amiable..kind of rude in talking and answering queries. Although the forex & trading services guy...iremember his name was Gaurav.. was a pleasure to deal, but the others were notgood. .. I expressed these concerns multiple times in the feedback phone-callthey gave me after visiting the bank. Instead of improving their mistakes,later on I saw the same customer support people were being promoted to betterpositions and their attitude remained un-friendly and not willing to help andaddress the customers concerns.
