Been using the ABN AMRO Card for the last 1 Year. When ever i go for transaction ill get the statement after due date(Yes every time :) ). then i have to call the customer care for the waveoff.
This is very intresting... I made transaction in the month of feb 2008. and for the next 2 months i dint get the statement neither hard copy/soft copy nor the sms alert. for which i complained. Then to my surprise they sent the latest statement with late payment fees and finance charges :).
Now as usal again i asked for the waveir. this time they told we cant. so, i told them i have informed to the customer care center about the statements which i dint get on time. but they dint care and started sending the statement every month with late payment fees and finance charges and made the total to Rs.15,134. where as my transaction amount was only Rs.8,500. Now iam getting the calls from the chennai branch and executives are talking rudely. when i informed about these executives to the customer care they dont care at all. so friends never bank with ABN AMRO.
The beggears are better than this bank Atlease they(beggers) beg for their needs/support. But now a days banks are troubling and charging more to their innocent customers to get their business targets.
