Hi, with ABN Amro account, you need to check your statements and balances a little too often. They deduct charges without your notice and suddenly you will find that the acocunt has several unaccounted
debit entires. When you ask a question to them, they will not answer or clarify to you to why or what actually made them deduct that. In my case, my minimum account balance was 10000 Rs every month which I had maintained. One fine day, they went ahead and deducted some Rs 150 for some cheque charges and my balances dropped below 10K. Now they started deducting service charges for not maintaining the acocunt balance. So please do keep checking your balance - this is a dangerous bank to work with. My experience with them have been very very bad. One more thing about this bank is that if you request them to execute something, they would not and in the process, you will suddenly get wierd surprises. Stay away from these guys.
