The Konkan package that MTDC has launched is a good one. Affordable and covers everything it needs to. My friends have used this service and find it very satisfactory. But since it involves trains I suggest you to book in advance.
Tarkali was my fav destination in thjis package. We stayed there for couple of nights. I have also recommended these packages to some of my friends who happen to be foreigners. I am sure they will enjoy our Maharashtra with much more ease with this.
