Hmmmm.....Red FM 93.5

My daily dose to good music...Well! that’s the way they say it....

Taking you 5 years back: Radio Industry; only one or two channels airing " Ab aap VividBharti pe apne dost Akash Pandey se abhi tak ki khabren suniye"

Contemporary lifestyle: Same Radio Industry: Just a little less than a million channels airing " Goooooooooooooooooood Morning Delhi( India)....Main hun Ulta Pulta Nitin aur aap sun rahe hain Red FM 93.5 ..bajate raho"

Little did Marconi know back in 1897, that what he is inventing today, would reverberate century later from the car steroes, homes, eating joints, parlours, buses, trucks, trams, cycles, rikshaws ....................................and even from the pockets of millions carrying their cellphones tuned to the music of the radio. Now, that’s a revolution, is’nt it...

Ok, after enough of that historical gibberish, lets get to the point...where is the Radio Industry going and how far will this go? 
Is it just a fad which will fade in some time or the time has come when Radio will be as big , as strong an inustry as the television....

You tell me...You would like to watch someone or hear someone? I think most of you would say both....just like me...But just think about RJ as a profession....You can be dressed in the same crumpled night suit that you have worn thrice already, and still be sitting at work. You do not need to be a presentable self to be an RJ...But please don’t take all the liberty and brush your teeth well, else your poor mic would curse you. All this for the aspiring RJs......

So, again getting to the point I deviate so much from.........

Red FM...Indeed it is the most frequenly visited channel by me and is my biggest friend while I drive down to work each morning...and one major reason of shifting from Mirchi to Red is bacuse of Nitin, the RJ...Not that others are any less...but he is an ace at work surely.....Very captivating voice of a fat man who is unlike what I thought him to be ---- a drop dead handsome hunk
The channel airs music just like others, but the RJ makes all the difference...

To add more jazz to it...they bajao band of one/two people each hour. And if you dont wish to be a victim of his pranks...suggest a name and a number and watch as your friend/spouse/brother/sister is made a victim and celebrity for a few minutes :-)
