I am watching Selva Raghavans movie for the first time.
This movie, as per ur hints development provided above, glued us to the screen, for the first half, a reality, practicality being
depicted. But in the second half, the irritation starts from the song January madam, which finally makes the hero, a pshyco.
The heros laugh or the so-called smile really scares us. But being his first movie, he has made his best. Jokes are a bit stale. The usual approach of the heroines would-be being a bad guy could have been averted to keep up the practicality.
The heroines dialog, motivating the hero, and the heros dialog after the fight with the heroines would-be were appreciable. Lyrics of kan pesum varthai is too good. And Yuvans music scoring is at its best.
A broader view - this movie is good to watch once, but the last half-an-hour is a real dragger.
