Every one needs to be effective in today's world. Effectiveness is directly related
to being efficient. Stephen Covey has described the habits in a very easy and
lucid manner. These can be adopted by even a common man. I was facing
a lot many problems in being effective in my professional life. After reading
the book, I pondered on the suggestions made by the author. I had to make
a deliberate effort in altering my habits. After all, we all know that habits die hard.
But if you keep the end results in mind and the admiration that you are going
to receive from your colleagues, friends and superiors, then it is worth trying.
Stephen has even suggested very simple methods on adopting these habits.
And as normally happens, the change in habits bring out a new personality
out of you, which probably you are not aware of. But it start getting admiration
