I have a soft corner for Bengali food and consequently, my husband and I have been trying to visit Bengali restaurants in Bangalore whenever possible. Both of us love seafood and fish in any form is welcome. Bengalis are very well-known for their preparations of Fish and I am particularly skewed towards Bengali food. Anyway, I came across 6, Ballygunge Place on the Internet and it sounded decent enough. So off we went one day to try their food.
The Food as such is decent - it isn't great, but just OK. The sad part is that the portions are very small. My husband and I ordered a Fish gravy(don't remember the name, we followed the recommendation of their waiter) and the gravy was not enough for eating just 1 Paratha each. Terrible. Even local hotels offer sufficient gravy for any food you order!
All in all, the restaurant isn't worth the money charged. As I said, the food is OK, the portions small and the price high. I certainly won't be visiting them again.
