It was certainly hard to choose only 5 books out of the whole lot but I’ve tried my best to choose them.I mostly like books based on philosophy and religion but I like fiction too.Well,here is my list of 5 best books:

1.LA FAMILIA DE PASCUAL DUARTE,written by Kamilo Khose Sela. He is a Nobel lauriete and got the Nobel prize on this novel.This is a novel about a murderer who killed his own mother and is now in jail of Badakhos.He is trying his best to prove himself right, not for getting out of prison but he wants atleast one person to understand him,for this he is writing an autobiography.The magical part of this book is that Pascual Duarte,is actually correct and in the end the reader will always consider Pascual Duarte correct.This novel is totally based on Psychology of a comman man who became criminal for his own hatred.

2.ZEN-The mystery and the poetry of the beyond,is a book of Rajneesh Osho.In this his sayings on Zen religion and some methods to meditate are illustrated.This is a beautiful book to understand Osho’s philosophy of life.There are some queries of his followers and the answers of Bhagwan shree Rajneesh.This is a very nice book to understand Zen philosophy.

3.THE BOOK OF BUDDHAS,I don’t remember the author name but it is a great book to understand and learn Buddhism.Everything related to Buddhism and Buddha are explained well here!A must read for all those who want to know about Buddhism.

4.THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS,by 14’th Dalailama is a great book to know about the four noble truths and practices of Buddhism.The sayings of Dalailama on Buddhism in London are illustated here.Every practice and truth is expained in detail and in an easy language.

5.KAFAN,by the great writer Premchand.It is a very good book to understand Indian rural society.This is a book about a father,son and son’s wife.When the wife dies the poor men goes to the Zaminadaar and asks for some money for practising funeral ceremony and to buy Kafan,when they got the money they went to the city to buy Kafan but they didn’t bought it and instead of buying Kafan they merried whole night and were greatful to the lady who died and arranged a good feast for them.This is a very beautiful book to know about psychic conditions of a poor person.
